Start Writing Fiction
Annotation
Considering the fact that this course focuses heavily on three things: developing characters, analyzing other writers’ work, and, finally, getting started on your first rough draft of what might become a short story or a novel; this lesson has three parts to it, all of which correlate with the course’s focus points. This lesson will give the students a few guidelines on how to develop a character “from scratch” or draw inspiration from regular people on the streets, how to read like a writer and gain experience through others’ work without plagiarism, and, last but not least, how to actually start writing
